Happy Humpday!!!
Today I have a swatch post for you guys. I had been eagerly awaiting these Nicole by O.P.I Fall Target exclusives from the moment I saw the press release. Nicole by O.P.I has consistently released some of my favorite colors for 2012. This Fall collection might just be the cherry on top of a fantastic year for NOPI.

Mer-maid for Each Other is the first, and only, Peridot family color I have ever liked. Mainly because where all other shades in this family lean far more Golden- Olive this leans more metallic Sage Green. The duochrome in this is just beautiful, from Green to Blue. I could not stop staring at my tips. The formula on this was actually really nice. I did Three thin coats for full coverage. I was very pleased to see that this color did not have a brush stroke issue. Mer-maid for Each Other was an instant fave for me!
Nicole by O.P.I Iris my Case
Iris my Case is a Purple based duochrome. Formula-wise this is very similar to Mer-maid for Each Other. I actually ended up liking this color on the nail A LOT more on the nail than in the bottle. The duochrome here is from Purple to Golden. Just beautiful, three thin coats.Nicole by O.P.I For Gold Times Sake
For Gold Times Sake is a deep Tarnished Gold glassfleck base. The contrasting shimmer here is a Golden Green and hints of light Blue and Violet. This is just spectacular and unique. I love that NOPI went the multichrome glassfleck route vs. the metallic chromes. This is so much more unique than recent Fall releases. This color has a nice Three coat formula.
Nicole by O.P.I Just Busta Mauve
Just Busta Mauve is yet another extremely unique shade. My eyes see a light Brown glassfleck base with accents of Pink and Blue shimmer. This color combination is unexpected and eye-catching. I can honestly say I've never seen a polish like this one. This color is also a Three coater.Nicole by O.P.I If the Blue Fits
If the Blue Fits is a deep Sapphire based glassfleck with a color shift to Green and Purple. This is very peacockish and right up my alley. This one was the hardest to capture and it also has the densest formula. I did Three coats but I could have done with Two.I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this collection. The colors are unique, the formulas are great and they gave me a Peridot family color that I can actually LOVE and drool over. Now if they would just re-design that pesky little bottle... Nicole by O.P.I has potential to be one of my favorite brands ever!
Which are your faves? Mine are.... ALL!
