Hey it's Thursday!!
I cannot believe how quickly this year is coming to an end. Can you? It's kind of crazy to think back at everything I've done and it all feeling like it all happened just yesterday. Do you guys get that feeling toward the end of the year? That whole "What- did- I do- with- my- life- this- year?" feeling haha. I still have Holiday shopping left to do but I am super excited for Christmas!
Today I have some swatches of some beautifully unique polishes by Happy Hands Nail Polish. Brand creator, Kristi, is a fellow Florida gal. When she contacted me I did a quick look through her shop and fell in love with her unique combinations and cute bottle labels! I am really in love with these polishes and cannot get enough of the unique glitter blends.
To see swatches of these amazing polishes, continue reading ♥. All swatches shown with top coat to smooth out surface and bring out shine.
Happy Hands Motherboy over Nicole by O.P.I Kardashing through the Snow
Motherboy is an amazing mix of pastel, non-reflective glitter in various shapes and sizes. The main colors here are pretty pastel Pink, Purple, Seafoam Green and satin White in Squares and Hexes. This blend is suspended in a clear base and it is a very chunky. This glitter applies pretty well, as I said, it is a bit chunky, it requires some spreading. That said, it's pretty awesome because you get good coverage in just one coat. I just love this. Very Monet.Happy Hands Banana Stands
Banana Stand is an awesome, bright Yellow "crelly" base with small Green hexes and larger Yellow and Brown Hexes. The formula on this shade is really great and the glitter has a great spread. I only needed Three thin coats for full opacity. Happy Hands Lady Goodman
Lady Goodman is a pale Lavender jelly base packed with twinkly Silver holo glitter, Pink holo hexes and Lavender Squares. The base on this shade is pretty sheer, but easy to work with. If you are not a fan of VNL you might want to layer this pretty. For my swatch I used Three coats of Lady Goodman all on her own. I love the delicate look of the light Lavender base and the ethereal glitter suspended in it. Happy Hands Flowers on the Highway over Nicole by O.P.I Don't Over Pink It
Flowers on the Highway is a great, eye catching-mix of Yellow, White, Green, Lavender, Orange and Black hexes in varying sizes suspended in a clear base. This polish really does remind me of flowers! This polish is very packed with glitter and applies really well. I only did one coat of glitter over my Pink base. Happy Hands Afternoon Thunderstorms
Afternoon Thunderstorms is a beautiful light Grey base packed with shimmering Golden/Green glassfleck. The amazing base is accented by Black hexes in varying sizes. The formula on this shade is amazing and does great in Three thin coats. This is a great, unique and beautiful color. Happy Hands Art is Hard over Sation Strummin' my Nails
Art is Hard is a really fun blend of Red, Teal and Purple hexes as well as lots 'o Red hearts all suspended in a clear base packed with light Blue shimmer. This is a chunky polish as well but I love that it is so packed with glitter because there is no fishing required and each nail ends up with a really unique and cool look.I am SO into Happy Hands polishes. Kristi's creations are really unique, fun and innovative. I've never seen polishes like these, indie or mainstream. They are very joyful, playful and beautifully executed. I'm a fan of these chunky glitters. I love that they don't skimp on the product.
Happy Hands Nail Polish is available on Kristi's Etsy shop and they retail for $10.00.
I love every single one of these!
