China Glaze Summer Neons 2012 Swactches

Happy Caturday!!!!

Finally! The day has come where I show you guys my swatches of the China Glaze Summer Neons. This was easily one of my most anticipated collections of the year. I was never one for neons and all of a sudden something snapped and I wanted ALLL things neon. This collection blew my away instantly. I've been showing you guys some nail art looks with these in the past few weeks. These are SO much fun to play with.
As promised! Here are my swatches!!

I don't want to repeat myself 12 times so about the formula: These ALL have a fantastic formula. I encountered absolutely no issues. None of these shades require underwear. The shimmery neons are very saturated with color and apply like butter. There are Two heavily saturated jellies that also go on like a dream. These all dry to a slightly satin-matte finish so a nice top coat is a must to bring out the shine. I love that these have that lovely shimmer in them and that hey did the Two vibrant jellies. All but Ride the Waves were Two effortless coats of color.

Of course my camera freaked a bit at the brightness of these colors but rest assured... These are in fact so bright that the phrase "retina-searing" doesn't really cover it. Just what I had been craving!! All of these pictures were done without top coat to show the cool finish thes dry to. I especially love how the jellies dry to a pastic-like finish.

China Glaze Love's a Beach
Love's a Beach is a deeply saturated vibrant Barbie Pink with vibrant Pink shimmer. This one has some Magenta tones in it making it the most vibrant Pink in the collection. Out of all the Pink shades in this collection this one was my favorite.

China Glaze I'm with the Lifeguard
I'm with the Lifeguard is just impossibly bright! This neon Lime Green has a beautiful matching shimmer and it seems to glow. This is my favorite color in the entire collection and one now of my favorite Greens, ever!

China Glaze Ride the Waves
Ride the Waves is an amazingly rich and vibrant Cerulean Blue jelly. I found the formula on this color very easy to work with. It is a bit sheer but it does build up nicely and looks perfect at Three coats. If you don't like VNL this might not be the shade for you unless you went with some underwear. I do not mind VNL as I already have nubbies as it is. I seriously LOVE this shade and finish.

China Glaze Splish Splash
Splish Splash is a super bright light Blue with mtaching Blue shimmer. This color reminds me of a lighter version of the very popluar China Glaze Frostbite. Beautiful Summer shade.

China Glaze Hang Ten-Toes
Hang Ten-Toes is a lighter and more Blue toned Pink than Love's a Beach. The formula on this color is also a bit less saturated. The more definig quality of this color is that the shimmer does not match the base color. The shimmer in Hang Ten- Toes flashes Violet. The finish on this one is far more "glassy".

China Glaze Under the Boardwalk
Under the Boardwalk is the second jelly in the collection. This one is a deep Magenta with some slight Purple undertones. It is not quite neon but extremely vibrant and eye ctaching. This color also translates well into Fall.

China Glaze Surfin for Boys
Surfin for Boys really freaked my camera out. This is a HOT and NEON shade of Coral with beautiful matching Coral shimmer. This is the perfect neon pedi color and I am so doing it soon!

China Glaze Sunkissed
Another favorite from this collection! Sunkissed is a neon highlighter Yellow with that matching Yellow shimmer. This color seem to have just a slight hint of Green to it. My pictures do this no justice.

China Glaze Pink Plumeria
Pink Plumeria is an odd color in this collction. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. This is a soft neon Salmon Pink? I'm not even sure how to describe it. The shimmer in this color likes to settle to the bottom. This color also has more of a Silvery shimmer.

China Glaze Beach Cruise-r
Beach Cruise-r is a beautiful neon Orchid Purple with matching Violet shimmer. This is another color that will translate well into Fall. I really enjoyed this "grown up" neon shade.

China Glaze Flirty Tankini
Flirty Tankini is a muted Coral neon with the same Silvery shimmer in Pink Plumeria. This color also has the same shimmer settling issue is PP. I did enjoy this color though.

China Glaze Orange you Hot?
China Glaze Orange you Hot? is a super bright shade of "Mac-n-Chesse" Orange with matching Orange shimmer. This is such a fun shade and an awesome take on the trend of Summer Oranges.
So I seriously love this collection. I love the names and I love the shimmer in the neons. That is what really made these stand out for me. China Glaze really has the neons down but they really did improve on the formula and the color range. This collection is such an Epic WIN for me!

Whic are your faves?
