Tammy Taylor - Dazzle Rocks Nail Polish

These are her Dazzle Rocks Nail Polishes, various color glitters suspended in a clear polish base.
I can't find them on the painful Tammy Taylor Website, so I don't have a link or prices... Sorry.
They are each labeled with "Dazzle Me Up" red, blue, or black. The silver one is different, it's Dazzle Me Up Stardust and my gold bottle is missing a label, so I don't know if it's called gold, or something fancier.

For each of these swatches I used one coat over the colored nail polishes so you could see the opacity. The ring finger nail shows 3 coats of the Dazzle Rocks nail polish over my natural nail.

Stardust over China Glaze Laced Up

Mystery gold color over Sinful Colors Endless Blue

Blue over Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Green With Envy

Black over Sally Hansen CSM Lavender Cloud
(I really like how it's a mix of black and silver)

Red over theBalm Mellow Yellow

The glitter polishes were easy to apply and the glitter seems to disperse evenly without any extra effort. Each of them are pretty topcoat hungry in that it looked best with 2 coats of Seche Vite topcoat.

Tammy Taylor - Top Gel Plus, Clean-It, Clean Finish Buffing File, & Brush on Nail Glue

Some random additional products provided by Tammy Taylor.

Tammy Taylor Top Gel Plus
Here for $19.95
This is a gel top coat that can be cured under a LED or UV light. I don't have a lot of gel system knowledge, but I do have the Sensationail LED lamp, so I tested it over a completely dry regular nail polish. It did cure within 40 seconds as it states and it provided a high shine with a thick glossy look. (I'll spare you the pics because it was on my toes) I can't attest to the wear time or compare it to other gel polishes because I don't have a full system with the proper base coats.

"Clean - It"
Here for $8.95
This is meant to be used prior to any gel system application to ensure better adhesion, as well as after a gel polish is cured to remove any sticky residue from the surface of cured gel polish. I found it worked great with the Top Gel plus polish, it's a nice size of 3 oz, free of any harsh odor.

Clean Finish Buffing File
Here for $11.95
This has a heavy grit to it that can rough up the surface of the natural nail prior to polish application. Also it can be used to buff off the gloss of a cured gel polish, so you can use the acetone-soaked-cotton-ball-wrapped-in-tin-foil onto the nail to remove gel polish.

Tammy Taylor Brush On Nail Glue
(I can't find the direct link on their site.)
I don't often have a need for nail glue, but I sometimes use it to apply rhinestones if I want some extra staying power. This being in a brush on form makes it really easy to use and control the amount of glue placed. It's a nice size bottle of a full 15mL or 0.5oz.

Tammy Taylor Dazzle Rocks Rockstar Glitter "Night on the Town" Collection

Some more products from Tammy Taylor Nails. These are her Dazzle Rocks or 1oz /10gm jar of loose glitter. They can be found here on her site for$14.95 for each color. Tammy Taylor also has several videos posted on that same page showing how these glitters can be utilized with gel polish and acrylic powders. I don't have either of those techniques in my skill set, so I used them over regular nail lacquers for these swatches.

The top middle row (Rock Me Red) is not part of the Night on the Town collection, but rather than create a post on it's own, I included it here.

Midnight Sky is the first one.
Fine black glitter, with larger black, irridescent blue, green, and yellow pieces.

I first painted my nails with OPI Eurso Euro, then sprinkled some "Midnight Sky" over the top. I lightly pressed it so the pieces would lie flat then applied regular topcoat.

Shimmering Stars
Over all white appearance that changes to opalescent pastel over a base color.

Here I'm showing it over China Glaze Spontaneous

Moonlight has an over all gold appearance.
Fine gold glitter and larger opalescent pieces.

Here I'm showing it over Orly Ancient Jade

Rock Me Red
Fine red glitter mixed with larger gold pieces.

I always have a hard time figuring out what to pair red glitters with. Anybody else suffer that same dilemma? Here I'm showing it over China Glaze Electric Beat

City Lights
A mix of silver

Here I'm showing it over China Glaze Laced Up

Because Matching your Nails to your Black Milk Leggings is a Thing Now

(**China Glaze Press Sample**)
Hello darlings and happy Wednesday!

It is a dark, Grey and gloomy day here in (what is supposed to be) Sunny Florida. I don't know about you guys, but bad weather makes me a sad panda. I get so lazy, slow and just plain out of it. I know I can't be the only one lol. Anywho, if you follow me on Instagram (@L_T_H_P), you know of my obsession with all things Black Milk Clothing. I am simply addicted to the shiny nylon goodness. Everything they make is so unique, fun and colorful.

I own about Seven pieces from Black Milk Clothing. Two of my favorites are my mermaid legs. I own them in Purple and Silver holo. I seriously want everything in this fabric, in all colors. I am so obsessed with anything mermaids. The "scales" are craaazy holographic. It was very hard to capture in my photos. Every time I wear my Black Milk pieces I always get so many compliments. I just adore their clothing to pieces.
So I really wanted to match my nails to my Silver mermaid legs, because you know, that is entirely a thing.

I had to take this pic in weird lighting to get the holo to come out, the Sun was long gone at this pont. SO, for my mermaid nails I started with a base of China Glaze's Cosmic Dust from the Hologram collection. This is a lovely shade of light Gunmetal grey holographic awesomeness. For my mermaid scales stamp I used Red Angel stamping plate RA-111 and Konad Black special polish. I topped off my nails with some Seche Vite and called it a day. They were a perfect match to my fierce leggings.

Here is a shot of my base color Cosmic Dust. This holo has a nice-ish formula. As it applies it looks a bit frosty and streaky, but as it dries the streaks and frost disappear and turn into holographic awesomeness. I used Three thin coats to achieve evenness and full opacity. In the photo below I had not top coated my nails yet. When added a top coat, it did mute the holo finish just a bit. Sorry about my weird-looking skin here, I had a hard time capturing the holo effect properly.

Do any of you guys own any Black Milk clothing pieces? They are seriously amazing. Oh and for shiggles, here is a pic my husband took of me last time I wore my Silver mermaid legs. I had the huge honor and fangirl moment of having Black Milk share this photo on their Facebook fanpage. That same day they had also shared one of my photos on their Instagram as well. It was so surreal having my favorite clothing line share my photos with their fans!
Oh and for the record, there was no photoshopping done to this photo. This photo is a cellphone pic. I am naturally slim and will not make any apologies for it. People called me anorexic, a bad role model because I'm "too thin" blah blah blah.. WHATEVER. Us girls can't win.. We're too thin, we're too fat.. What is right then? Me, I'm happy with myself, I am happy with my body and I will flaunt it while I have it. My tattoo was done by tattoo artist Robbie Ludders of Sarasota, Florida.

Thank you so much for stopping by today my loves!! I'm off to see about doing an Independence Day mani. What is everyone wearing for the holiday?
