Pink Wednesday!! O.P.I VIntage Minnie Mouse Collection Swatches

Happy Humpday!

  I know this is kind of a cop out but I have not done a Pink Wednesday in a while and showing you guys this collection just seemed fitting for the occasion. Every Summer (ish) O.P.I seems to release a "themed" collection of Four colors. A few years back it was Summer Flutter, last year they did Nice Stems and this year they are giving us Four Minnie Mouse themed shades. 

Sorry about this jank looking collage... My life will never be the same until a better replacement for Picnik comes along. I've tried Pic Monkey and Aviary but I plain don't like them. Using the Creative Kit in Picasa at the moment but it's just not the same..... So yeah... You should totally keep reading to see some pretty swatches!

O.P.I Nothin Mousie 'Bout It over O.P.I I'm all Ears

 Nothing Mousie 'Bout It is a mix of micro glassflecky bits of Orange and Violet floating in a light Pink jelly base and little Pink hearts. This is a really cute polish. I was iffy on the hearts because we all know how much of a pain these types of polishes can be. To save myself frustration I just applied my shimmery coat without trying to get hearts on there. Then picked the little hearts off the brush and placed them on my nail with an orange stick. Then I went back and sandwhiched the hearts in one more coat of Nothin Mousie 'Bout It. The general verdict on this is that a lot of girls seem to wish that it did not have the hearts but I LOVE the hearts. Very cute and "Minnie" like.

O.P.I I'm all Ears

 While colors like this one no longer feel unique to me I do have to say that this is still quite beautiful. This is one of those amazing, sparkly jelly based glassflecks. This one is more Hot Pink toned than some of the other Violet-Magenta glassflecks we have seen in the past. I did Three thin coats for maximum color payoff and coverage.

O.P.I The Color of Minnie

 Oh yum! The name is perfect, the color is perfect. This is a candy toned Red Pearl. With this one there is a bit of a freakout as you first apply it because it looks brushstrokey but as it dries the strokes disappear and you are left with a beautiful Pearly, candy Red surface. This color has an amazing formula and does well in Two coats.

O.P.I If you Moust you Moust

 And what is a Minnie collection without some Pink?! If you Moust you Moust is a light Blue toned, bubblegum Pink creme. It's quite a safe color but it fits in well with the collection and the seasonal trends. This color does best in Three thin coats.

Overall, I am enjoying this collection because I'm a child at heart and I always remember loving Minnie as a child. I remember the very first time I went to Disney World and I "met Minnie"... I froze up because I was so star struck, my parents had to nudge me to walk up to her hahaha!
