Sation- Scotch Tape Craziness!

Good morning all!

So! As the title says.. I kinda went crazy with my Sations, some striping tape and some scotch tape. I wasn't going for anything in particular. I just wanted to have some fun with some tape and some awesome Sation polishes.
Quite a bit going on here lol. I used all Sation polishes. I started with a base of Miss Emo Shun All. The aqua accents were done in Oh my Oceania! and the Lavender accents were done in Tardy Tart. The glittery accents were done with a Stripe Rite Silver glitter striping polish.
This is like nautical flags on LSD or something lol... I love all these colors together!

Now here is a swatch of Miss Emo Shun All. This shade of vivid, deep and saturated Indigo creme was as instant favorite. I'm actually looking for a reason to put this on again real soon. This color stands alone in my collection, totally dupeless. I don't have any colors that even come close to this shade of Royally Amazing Purple! The formula on this color is very easy to work with. Miss Emo Shun All  does dry to a cool satin-matte finish but I photographed it after top coat to bring out the shine.
I also have to go on about the name for a minute :D. This polish is from the Class of Sation collection. Back in High School.. I was totally Miss Emo lol!! This polish is my nail color soul-mate!
So yeah! Good times with Sation! Who, BTW have some AMAZING collections in the works and I cannot wait to share them with you guys! I love Sation's out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to their collection themes, promo shots and color names. I'm excited, I hope you guys are too! Sation polishes are available from misspn.com and they are a total steal at $5!

Black & White Challenge! Day Two- White on Black

Good morning lovelies and happy humpday!

Today the sexy6 are carrying on with Day Two of the Black and White Challenge. The task for today is Black base with White on top. I danced around this for a while because I am not always a fan of how White looks over Black. The effect of White on Black always seems a little Halloween to me for some reason. I finally decided on doing something I don't really do too often, half moons. The end result was a super classy and eye-catching manicure.
I started with Two coats of Zoya Raven as my Black base. For the White I used Zoya  Purity which covered the Black effortlessly in one good coat. To clean up the "seam" where the Black and White meet I added a little bit of Silver Glitter using a striper. LOVE this look. All topped off with some Seche Vite.
Don't forget to stop by  Sam The Nailasaurus, Rie Nails and Noms, Esther at Fab Fingertips, Stephanie at Sincerely Stephanie and Emily from The Laquerologist to see what they have in store for us today!

Julep Brooklyn

Happy Caturday!

Today I have a super pretty Red from Julep. I also did some very simple Holiday themed striping with some glitter because this color was just screaming Holidays to me. It's very much a festive type of shade.
So Brooklyn is a deep Red creamy base packed full of Red micro glitter. The formula on this color is insane. I could have almost done with one coat. It actually has a cool effect at one coat. Almost looks like lip gloss but for your nails. At two coats, it looks a bit more like a matte lipstick. It is an awesome shade of deep Ruby Red and the sparkle gives this a lot of dimension. It dries a bit gritty and dull and it is a little hungry. I used Two coats of SV to give it full shine and smooth it out. When fully glossy this color is just lovely! For the glitter stripes I used Stipe Rite in Green Glitter and Milani in Art of Gold. Julep needs to make more colors like Brooklyn....
I'm off to wrap presents :D! Have a great Saturday lovelies!

Thoughts on Brooklyn?
